East Central SD | My answer will not be NAT approved but I would much rather NOT have Aim Command. Just more wearable parts and things to go wrong. As far as keeping a perfect pattern spraying near acreages or gardens, I much prefer to slow down a mile or two per hour, drop pressure for larger droplets, and the slight risk of compromised pattern for a few hundred feet. Actually, in a situation where I have to slow down to go around a turn I can get a zebra-striped pattern on the outer boom. Comparing two identical sprayers, one with AIM and one without, I'd definitely take the one without. After spraying with Aim Command I don't think it's worth anything extra to me, other than re-sale because some people think they have to have it.
I would take a non-Aim machine with 500 less hours in a heartbeat. I'm sure I'll get flamed for my opinion but you asked what Aim was worth to me... | |
