Sorry Conan but I don’t buy into. All the ratios, People out here made a darn good living on a quarter of irrigated geound, for a very long time. People had complete crop failures without insurance and still survived, none of this happens today. There are no more stories of buying a piece of land and paying for it in a year. My grandfather farmed 160 acres for 55 years, no more and no less and made good money., I would love to only farm 160 acres, but in reality you need to farm closer to 2000 acres out here these days.
