I would agrer with your grandmother. We use to buy "strike anywhere matches" back when you still could get them. One day wife came home with a package of 3 boxes of the. I asked her to give me a box. She casually tossed a box to me, thing burst into flames in midair. Luckily it landed on the tile floor & not something flamable &I was able to pit it out.
