west central Iowa | For correction I bought a Trimble RTK base. I started with WAAS, and decided money spent for used base was worth every penny!
I have used a Trimble 500 & 750 on RTK to run an Ez- Steer. Worked very well on my 4650 with 16 row planter. I finally got to the point where I put Trimble Autosteer on my 4650, and absolutely love it.
We used the ez-Steer in combine and did beans at an angle. Worked really well! End of bean head feeds so much better, at an angle!
The newer systems that go under the steering wheel would be more user friendly than an Ez-Steer. | |
