NCMD | The crane doesn't mess up the flow. Yes that fire is about out usually set up a tee pee fire and it takes off. My only issue with it is it needs to be out before bed otherwise it will suck the warm out of the house overnight and the poker damper limits that, I have thought about making some type of adjustable prop for it, but my luck it would fall out overnight and smoke up the house. The house was built in 2003 and the builder agreed to put a Rumford in before he knew how much the parts cost. He honored the contract. Been thinking about putting a woodstove in it to eliminate the overnight issue. Right now it only gets used when its really cold or for effect. | |
