Subject: How good is Gps in urban areas

Looking at systems to map lawns, auto steer and nozzle control for a small sprayer, snow plowing and mowing operations. Kubota has Smart Path out using Terrastar with sub 2 inch accuracy. We have large mature trees and buildings. Ravens RTK looks interesting too. I am skeptical that any Gps can work well in this environment. From what I have been reading autonomous vehicles in urban environments run other sensors to augment Gps. Any experience with this appreciated. Thanks
