north central Iowa, Hampton | I'm not "no-carb dieting" I've just changed life to not include much for carbs. In my 30's I gave up excessive beer. In my 40's I gave up ice cream. Now in my 50's, I guess it's carbs. Like you said, I took off 20 pounds and felt better. I've got another 20 to go this year...
Walking an hour or so mostly does it for me. If I don't get that done during the day, the elliptical and an Andy Griffith or Big Bang Theory show seem to make it happen. I also do a half-hour stretching routine before bed 3-4 nights a week. Makes me sleep better and it does keep me more limber. (You Tube videos from Sean Vigue--start at beginner!!)
