Frytown, Iowa | My kids will get one of our old iPhones whenever they start going off by themselves for events and such. It will be a limited plan pay by the minute and used only for communication with parents or whoever is in charge of them. the day they get their OWN phone to do as they please is probably closer to when they drive and have a job and income
Even then, as long as they're teenagers in our house I'm sure we will set up a rule to keep phones at the front desk so they aren't texting at the dinner table or in their room all night. Course I'll have to do that myself and that will suck
