sw ontario | Interesting article , In Ontario they have been doing a survey on mental health and found a large percentage of Farmers feel depression at some point. Article posted mentioned financial stressor's , but that can go both ways ,when farming is good you feel under pressure "to keep up/expand" and other times its "you take on too much work,obligations,ect."....Farming being "hands on" job you see weather,disease,marketingand other issues every day so Maybe that is why there is many Farmers suffer from Maniac Depression....Farmers all are proud but if we break a leg we see a Doctor and there should be no shame in dealing with Mental Health | |
