Midwest | You could wipe your data folder and restore the backup as long as the backup has everything you need. (Renaming it would be safer)
Their support has a tool that will fix your issue, you'd need to send them your projects.mdb file from your data folder. As you said they're closed so if you need it before then option A is what you need.
