NESD | Machine sync as you know is not active for the Gen 4 displays but is scheduled for release in the 18-2 software release which is in early fall time frame.
Machine sync can be run either with a Machine Communication Radio which has a range of approx 3 miles, or it can be ran thru the JDLink MTG which gives infinite range but has a slight lag time of a few seconds, I don’t recommend using JDLink for combine/graincart because of the lag time and the cart not responding soon enough but for shared coverage and guidance line sharing JDLink works very well. | |
