Coles County, Illinois | Trimble, Ag Leader, and Raven all have mapping units that can run an auto steer added to the steering wheel. I know it seems like a lot of money but I'd rather have a 5000 hr tractor with auto-steer than a new one without. Even though I run Raven, I'm kinda a geek and as such am self supported. Ag Leader has the best rep company wide on support though a friend of mine likes his Trimble set-up.
As as far as switching back and forth, Invest some extra money in cabling. I can move units in about 5 minutes. | |
