Subject: RE: AgLeader GPS 1100 to Greenstar

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I suspect your 1100 GPS has the output at 4 HZ. This is too fast for the Greenstar system. This faster rate is desirable for guidance but over loads certain other devices.

Ag Leader has a program that you can install on a computer. You hook the computer to the 1100 and reprogram it.

The settings are 4800 8,N,1 which are very standard. NEMA messages are GGA - ON, GSA, - ON and RMC - ON. VTG and others OFF. The messages need to be sent at 1 Hz rather than 4 Hz.

I surprised that Ag Leader Support was not aware of this situation since they provide the program to correct it.
