NE CO | The only difference I was able to see with it this fall is that it captures all the different calibration values, which I figured it would as that is how the system works. It is constantly, slightly changing the cal factor going through the field, and in Apex you can see all the different cal factors used in field. So machines running active yield have quite the list versus machines that just calibrate once and go. Field totals and yield were even extremely close if not exactly the same between Apex and Ops Center, so was scratching my head on that one.
As for you buddy running it in sunflowers, that would make sense why it wasn't working very good because it wasn't working at all since flowers aren't an approved crop for active yield. Only corn, soybeans, wheat, barley, and canola so far. If you change to any other crop besides these on the combine it will automatically turn itself off and can't be enabled until an approved corp is used. | |
