The grass is always greener.....

Lot of generational farms don't make it through the 3rd generation; can't be all gravy?

Lot of older generation use the young generation as free labor, no real compensation for years of work and then leave a small share of a broken small farm, not much silver in those spoons.

Everybody is different, but its human nature to turn green and show envy one side to the other.

I still get 'mad' thinking about Hula for buying cheap crappy ground, putting up pivots from a shallow endless aquifer, and being able to spoon on all the nutrients he need to raise record yields in his sunny conditions...... grrrrrr, boy he has it easy, not stuck with the good expensive dirt and rains that I have! Yea anyone can farm like he does, easy street. *
