Durant EC Iowa | Just got through with a recertification meeting today and iowa state university is recommending to NOT use the new dicamba post on beans next year. There were 165 complaints of growth regulator herbicides in Iowa last year, more than double total complaints from previous years. The label restrictions, liability, and training required to use any of the three new herbicides make it almost impossible. It remains to be seen if the commercial chemical applicators will follow suit. | |
