Not sure where you are located or if you have access to LiDAR but that's what we use for our initial mapping of drains, and if they aren't quite right when I get to the field I just re-drive them with the tractor. Everything gets designed/processed at home and uploaded to the display and iPad and "real-time" updated in the field. Ditches get dug out and the dirt gets brought back to the holes to fill them in some.
Located in NC. Pretty sure we have LIDAR I just have no idea how to use it or how to view it. I downloaded files from NOAA but have no idea what program to use to view the .shp files. |
