On the planter did you want only clutches or did you want variable rate hydraulic or electric drives as well?
At the bottom of the OP, it indicates SureStop clutches for an 8 row. No mention of any other planter options such as hydraulic drive, population monitoring etc. If those items were included in the estimate that would add quite a bit to the total. Installation would be involved as well
WAAS is indicated for GPS correction which can work but I would strongly recommend going with TerraStar. This may have been included in the estimate.
Maybe the dealer just threw out a ballpark figure, thinking that the party wasn't terribly interested. Maybe the dealer isn't that familiar with all the possibilities and combinations that are possible. I would want a dealer who has done this before. Although the Ag Leader systems can work well, there is no substitute for experience by the dealer and installer.
