SE IL | I am not an expert in either system, I do have more experience with the Ag leader. And I could be wrong about the details of either system.
The basic control thought behind the Ag leader system is to stay as close as possible to your desired gauge wheel load. I agree that PP gives you more options, but just like was said, you have to adjust the settings to get the PP system to stay on the ground. The agleader system uses the gauge wheel load to calculate needed downforce, and the light/med/heavy setting is just adding weight to ag leaders math. Things may have changed on the PP side, but in the past the gauge wheel load was only monitored, not necessarily used in the downforce calculations. besides to show the user the margin, then allow you to get it adjusted where you want it.
