Not exactly. An InCommand display running with a legacy adapter cable will retain the same capability as the display cable it was plugged into. The legacy adapter connects everything: Serial GPS, CAN A, CAN B, and Ethernet connections to the original cable. If the original cable lacked any of those connectors, then the system will lack any functionality dependent upon those connections, but that is not because of the adapter cable.
