We shouldn’t discount the behavioral economics aspect of bitcoin. If increasing number of people want to hold bitcoin and much like gold believe it is a store of value (right or wrong), then that would continue to increase the upward price pressure and would possibly retain its value over a given period of time much like it has from its inception to now. Which has been so far, since its inception a store of value. | |
