I'm not saying it isn't used for illicit activities. But TPTB are against it. The same PTB that want to do away with cash, track every transaction you make, and some have even suggested a transaction fee anytime you do anything involving a financial transaction.
There will always be nefarious characters that do bad things. Unfortunately many of those masquerade as Wall Street bankers and politicians.
