Scranton | I did something similar, but I don't get reimbursed. I put about $25k in a farm tiling some wet spots. I figured 5 years payback on that, so landlord and I have a contract that states I get reimbursed if I'm not farming the ground...20% per year, or $5k. If I farm it two years and he cancels me, he owes me $15k.
I know it just a guess and just a breakeven, but it sure made him happy and it sure makes that farm easier to farm. Hopefully our relationship outlasts the contract. | |
