That is really interesting and I feel there would be value in that information, at times I wish ag technology was a bigger industry and would attract enough innovative freelance people to force things out of proprietary systems. I think about this when you see all the work done by people making code readers / chips / etc. for diesel pickups or when you Google search a particular model of cell phone and see all of the hacked features people have discovered.

Do you think that this type of data isn't available because manufactures truly believe value doesn’t exist or (I'm being cynical here) they haven't figured out a way to market and sell it yet.

Thanks for sharing your experience, interesting story; I always appreciate your insights.
