reminds me of a project i had a few years ago.... loggin ground speed in the tractor pulling the ripper. made some nice soil type (and compaction) maps. wherever the heaviest ground was the ripper pulled harder and in the sand pulled easy. Michigan State also did some work back 10 years ago or so on putting load cells in the drawbars of tractors pulling tillage tools... I thought the data was really neat and useful.
