AGCO Global Technologies has developed FODM-compatible Field Operations Device Drivers (FODD's) for their line of field hardware. AGCO is the first ag equipment OEM to build and support their own FODD's. We wanted to bring attention to AGCO's decision to support a data exchange format that is open and completely independent of OEM hardware or software.

FODM supports the flex logging capabilities of the AGCO Console II field devices and the import of this data is available to any FODM-compliant software package, such as MapShots EASi Suite, Farm Works, AGRIS AgroGuide and Pioneer FIM. The new AGCO FODD's are available for download on MapShots's FODD Update page. If you have FODM compliant software, you can go to the FODD Update page to ensure that you always have the latest version of FODM installed, as well as the latest drivers for the field devices that you use.

There are several more drivers that have been published. We'll add them to this page in the couple of weeks. If you do not currently have FODM-compliant software, you are welcome to download the free Field Operations Viewer, also available from the FODD updates web page.


The screen capture below shows AGCO flex logging data displayed by virtue of a simple installation of the appropriate FODD. The display of this data require no additional programing on the part of the FODM-compatible software application. The data "just appears".
