| Remember, you were talking with a person on the lowest rung of the company ladder, dealing directly with the customers. They will not be directly involved with setting the direction for the company. Their primary responsibility is to make the customer feel better, even if it ends up being something you can load in the manure spreader later.
And yes, the wording of the EULA was not good... for you. It's fine for them and I highly doubt it will change.
With any company that shows millions of dollars raised from investors (over $60 million as of January 2016, from venture capitalists, real estate companies and financial/insurance companies included in that mix of investors), which most likely outpaces revenues from customers, I have a feeling that I know who they are trying hardest to make a buck for. | |
