Western Ky. | Had a 1969105 diesel hydro with quick attach feederhouse. We ran it to 6000 hours rebuilding the hydro and motor once. We pushed a 643 corn head and a 20 ft. platform with a floating cutter bar. The injector pump was set up as much as was possible. We ran a second radiator to keep it cool. In corn we had a speed up sheave for the clean grain elevator. We would also remove the lower clean grain screen, return elevator belt and had a cover plate for the returns auger in corn. With this setup 1200 bph was possible unloading on the go. Horsepower was the limiting factor. IMHO there was no combine close to a 105 diesel in corn in 1969.
