I am surprised that Ks. showed higher corn and bean yields than the year before. Ours was lower and it sounded like my area was better off precipitation wise than a lot of others. It would be interesting to see acres 16 vs, 17. Maybe that's the increase in production.
Big dryland corn acres in the western third of Kansas....relatively good yields as well.
