NW Indiana | Spring price of 10.19 likely turned out to be the best price anyone got for 2017 beans so far. I find that not only interesting but also odd. Like wise for corn the 3.96 spring price turned out to be a strong bid. Sure does make crop insurance look beneficial. As talk of the farm bill continues hopefully they are aware of the safety net this provides. With that said it makes these ARC/PLC payments look silly. | |
