Mid Michigan | I wouldn't think twice about welding it. In fact for something like that I would prep it by beveling it down with a grinder and die grinder and call somebody that welds for a living to come right out with a truck and do a pro job on it. The weld will more than likely be stronger than the original one that it left the factory with. Maybe make some reinforcements for it when you do it. Also look for cracks on the other side while you're at it. | |
