S.E. Washington | I wish I still had the picture of my friend doing something similar. He called from five hours away, "can you help me move.?"
"What do you have to move?"
"Mattress, box spring, and a flatscreen tv that won't fit in the car."
"Just tie it to the roof and bring it that way."
Him being fresh from the army, and with a can do attitude, he loaded up and arrived at my door in five hours, with it on the roof! Loading order was this, mattress first to protect the paint and body, box spring to hold it down flat, flatscreen tv laid flat on top, ratchet straps though the windows front and rear to tie it down. Said it rode fine, but he sure got some looks! | |
