We have gone away from insecticide on planter simply because when you need the help to control root worms the insecticide is gone. We spray all corn with insecticide at Brown silk. We are also spraying fungicide at same time. Some of acres been corn on corn now for 7 years with no pressure from root worms. We plant a lot double pro even conventional hybrids with very good results.
