Frytown, Iowa | Typically a large crop doesn't correspond with massive falling markets instead the opposite. If you look at 2005 and 2010 we had above trend yields those years and you would THINK the farmers were as bearish price and depressed because you know... "we got too much corn for it to go anywhere"
But what actually happened? Bottoms were placed AT peak bearishness and the rally began.
Nothing changes. Same old same old happening again
Now these past 3 years (15,16,17) we have had above trendline crops and have we had massive falling markets? No. It's been sideways at best. Even with all this glut of corn we have around 3.12-3.18 bottoms... at best $3.01
Where are we today? Maybe 30 cents above the lows and every post on here is bearish to neutral corn
