First it is a confinement/dairy thing. Second, as said, the magnet worked for at least the screw. Third a cow isn't going to die from hardware disease one day later if she looked fine at an auction the day before. Not sure what a 3" screw, magnet, blood clots and a dead cow have in common but I bet there is a lot more pertinent info in the etc etc. Or they don't have a clue what they are talking about I'd also question how a cow "somehow gets a magnet put in her" they know nothing about. Magnets are one of two things; an act of prevention in confined herds or a last ditch effort for a cow that already is showing signs of hardware. |
