You're right. I guess what I'm picturing happening is that 1/3 of the crop value next year might only be $100/acre given the fertility. Also not sure how to go forward long term if in 6 months the objectives changed from improving the farm to just wanting a check. Maybe you're right though, maybe just over thinking things, and just plan on paying 1/3 whatever it makes.
