SW Ontario | I'm also an optimistic person but for different reasons. Like you, I believe there will always be demand for agricultural products. However, I don't think the unprecedented credit expansion we have witnessed is good for anyone. You mention it has caused increases in everything from farmland to machinery, and also wages. This is not quite true; wage increases have not kept up to increasing prices for everything else and herein lies the problem. You mention you went all in with regards to stocks in 2009. Are you implying we should wait for the next crash before buying more stocks? Isn't this a somewhat pessimistic view? | |
