6087 gets my vote but be prepared to loose money by planting traited corn according to all the experts on here

http://vt.cropsci.illinois.edu/corn17/westtbl17.pdf

At New Berlin ave of five Dekalb hybrids was 247 BU

60-87RIB- 245 BU
62-52RIB-243 BU
63-21RIB-251 BU
64-34RIB-249 BU
66-74RIB-247 BU

Six Prairie NGMO hybrids ave was 244 Bu

7204-243 BU
7355--251 Bu
7387-243 BU
8229-247 BU
8391- 231 BU
8904-250 BU

Plot was planted @ 2.2 acres per bag. 3 bu more for Dekalb x $3.50 = $10.50 per acre x 2.2 acres per bag = $23.10 per bag. So unless a person can buy Dekalb for $23.10 per bag less than Prairie NGMO. Planting Dekalb is a money looser.

Looks even worse for overpriced Monsanto corn when the ave of Channel and Stone are added to the Dekalb numbers.

Ave of four Channel hybrids @ New Berlin was 239.5 bu, Stone ave on five hybrids was 244 bu. Ave of Channel, Dekalb, and Stone is 243.5 BU Vs Prairie NGMO @ 244 BU

.5 bu x $3.50 = $1.75 x 2.2 $3.85 bag. So unless a person can buy Monsanto branded seed corn for $3.85 bag less than Prairie NGMO. Monsanto GMO corn is a money looser.

Heck even Pioneer looks like a better option if seed price is equal to Dekalb . Ave of four Pioneer hybrids @ New Berlin was 248 BU Vs Dekalb @ 247 BU.

Am not anti GMO, just anti getting stuck in the hind end for the performance of overpriced GMO that would end up lining Monsanto's pockets with no positive gain for me.
