It depends; I don't know what your annual snowload is, got to many vents not only blocks the snow from sliding off, extra vents weaken the roof panels and they can collapse. Some years back air drying bins were the fad, had a lot of roof vents with lot of fans pumping air thru the corn. One winter had lot of snow, roofs were collapsing the air drying bins didn't fair to good. But that's here in Wisconsin.
