Nusbaum Farms LLC Bellfountain, OR | Fry, I feel your pain. Up until about 32 I felt about the same as I did at 19. Then it was like a switch flipped, my metabolism slowed down, long hours in the cab didn't seem so easy and fun, etc. Good news is that after that change, it has kinda leveled off for the past 6 years. Don't you have a bunch of kids? I swear they can sense and withdraw energy by osmosis!
Day before yesterday we started Christmas tree harvest and I had a really green crew so I went out to show them how to build bundles (for flying with helicopter). I was hitting it pretty hard for quite a while to show that this gringo still knows how to work :-)
Man was I sore that night. Heating pad and bourbon were my best friends.
