E.Central MN | I think some mechanics just get bored with the job after a while. But they're not doing anyone any good by taking on jobs that they're not committed to doing. Some jobs look like they won't take much time, but then go downhill with more problems than originally thought. And if the mechanic knows the customer won't like paying for all the extra hours then there's a disincentive to keep working on it. Sometimes there aren't going to be any winners, the mechanic ends up working for peanuts and the customer feels like he was taken advantage of. The alternative is to take it to a dealer, we all know how that works out. | |
