I was 29yrs old in 1998, my dad and i had a 300 sow farrow to finish operation, thankfully we never owed any debt against the hog part of our operation, never borrowed $ for any buildings etc. But even with that being the case we lost over $100k in 2months time when prices fell as low as they did. WE were to stubborn to get out of hogs and finally did in 2002
