Elevator here said I could do a Dec basis contract and leave the board price alone for now. I’d deliver now and be charged $.04 to roll it to March if I want. I’d also get a 70% advance on what I delivered. No storage fees.
Problem is the basis isn’t very good. I can bin it and gain .$39 from and E plant on March delivery using current prices from both delivery points right now.
Chances corn is up $.22 in the next 90 days?
