SW OH | I forgot to add that does not apply when someone is turning left. However if you turn left and hit them in the side it is your fault. If they hit the side of your vehicle while you are in the turn it will be their fault, provided you can prove you signaled your turn. That's the way it was explained to me by a state highway Trooper during an accident investigation at the end of my driveway.
