Central Iowa
Since we actually scratch cook, rather than open, dump and heat, Aldi's is a pretty good deal.

Flour, milk, eggs, salt, cheese, ground beef, ham, chicken, etc........it's all the same, only 50% cheaper.

For those turning their noses up, here's a tip: Store brand food is done by co-packers, usually name brands. For those with kids, a great example is the Captain Crunch substitute. It's packed at the Quaker Oats facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The same facility that does Captain Crunch. They wheel in C. Crunch boxes, fill the order, and then wheel in Aldi boxes.

You guys shopping at Hy Vee are nuts. That's one high priced grocery store. Don't get me wrong, I love to shop there. I just love my money more.
