We buy all of our milk, cheese, cereal, fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, baking ingredients, bread, bacon, pork loin, pork ribs and frozen goods at Aldis. We have 4 kids that are 13 and under and they will eat everything we buy there. I would guarantee that my cart full of groceries at Aldis that I pay on the average of $125 for would be $200-250 at Hy Vee or Wal Mart. I'll gladly pay the quarter to use their cart.
This is no joke. For my wife, myself, and our 22 month old, we are saving anywhere from 25-40% over Dillon's (Kroger).
There are a few things we can't stomach, like their sour cream and refried beans. Usually won't buy chicken there, either. Other than that, i kick myself for not making the switch earlier. |
