just a tish NE of central ND | I take it that these stores are only located in ??Kansas MN. Iowa , Illinois,in the states?
Untill I read about them here I had never heard of Aldi's stores before.Started by Albrecht brothers.
Interestingly enough our little town of Anamoose here in central north dakota had Albrecht families running the grocery stores and hardware in the early 1900s and I remember them well, they were here up into the latter 60's. I believe they did own farmland and a so I suppose they homesteaded her as well.They were of German ansestory.....
