+1 Yep you can go either way, tie into the 440 to document or ditch the 440 and replace it with a rate controller, which is the best route to go if you can. Just need a simple adapter harness to go from the Raven connector to the rate controller, a few harnesses to hook up the rate controller to everything and that is about it. Plus can then use your section control activation for the sprayer as well.
