East Central, Nebraska | i wouldn't be without it. also it always seemed seed dealers and fertilizer people were way too eager to print my maps for me. i enjoy making my own decisions and plans no idea why anyone would ever want all their business decisions and plans made public and by others. also allows me to make changes on the fly if need be and sit down on a cold snowy day and compare years of maps. it can be as simple as a tool to pull your maps in and print or complex enough to compare and overlay several years of data and really get to know your situation.
on a side note i used to protest to farmers how important their data is and that they should hold on to it. its always been obvious the data we create has tremendous value to others. people used to laugh and tell me how crazy i am and now we have companies out there that are willing to write us checks for our data, while others keep handing it to climate (aka precision planting/monsanto). this is a commodity people!!!!
