Central MN | If anyones seed salesman are as persistant as mine Im sure you have everyone and their mothers knockin on your door trying to get seed orders put together for next year. I enjoy looking at everyone elses yield results so here is how each hybrid has performed on my farm. The first plot was primarily planted to DKC 4972 and we left a large strip in the middle of the field to plant different hybrids for the plot. This is irrigated and was Alfalfa last year. 3611 is a croplan number, 96V99 and G01P52 are golden harvest, and 4413 4236 and 4972 are Dekalb. Yield analysis was done using Fieldview and I just circled the entire plot and did a region report. These are dry bushels moisture was not measured by hybrid. The second plot was an 85 acre field we planted with a 16 row planter put dekalbs 4972 on 1st 8 rows and producers 5933 in the other 8 rows and planted side by side across the whole field and is also irrigated. The third is a dryland piece from last year where i was comparing DKC 4620 to Golden Harvest 98L17 so I only did a region report where I had those 2 hybrids planted side by side
